Firstly apologies for the missing 24 and 25 season updates. I've been focused on car duties and due to personal circumstances i had the 25-season off.
2025 was the most competitive year of the Funny Car Cup since it started! but the guys ended the year by winning the 2025 Cup and the SPRC Best Professional Appearing team. However, at the 1000ft, the car caught fire so that only meant Dave, Jay, and Tommy had a pretty tough winter ahead of them with our newest crew member, Tom, carrying out engine block repairs.
The Body was sent off to Craig Munro @ Extreme Fibre for assessment and repairs
The guys stripped the car down to the chassis for essential chassis checks and checked out all ok. Dave and Jay worked on gutting the systems box, checking for damage, and replacing parts as needed. Tommy checked through the cylinder heads and small details, checking for damage.
Body is due back end of Feb or early March, in the mean time Dave builds up a short block for the car, Tommy starts cleaning the clutch and tin work, and Jay re-plumbs the cars with new air lines, computer wires.
